As you enter Xaymaca Restaurant through the fully glazed foyer you enter the Pimento Lounge and dining area depicted by a modern airy setting with lounge style furniture and a nicely proportioned bar overlooked by a stylish oil painting call Jazz. From the Pimento you are ushered into an intimate alcove and balcony area called “Shady Grove”. This is a candlelit dining area of two halves accommodating a total of 12 people. This area immediately overlooks the main dining area, offering seating for 40, known as the Ochi Pavilion which depicts two walls of murals featuring the famous Dunns River Falls and a beautiful white sandy beach. A gallery mirrored wall perfectly provides the finishing touch to this plantation style house.
Many things are happening at XE Restaurant these days; many people have written reviews saying we are the finest Caribbean Restaurant in Birmingham ! Our menu offering everything from lite bites through to full three course meals is proving a big hit!
Samples from the menu include traditionals such as Ackee & Saltfish, Curry Goat, Jerk Chicken and Escoveitch Fish and contemporary dishes such as Island Seabass and Calypso Salmon. Complimenting the food is an exotic range of cocktails and island punches, spirits and liqueurs, fine wines and bottled beers.
